After being acquired by Nike in 2021, RTFKT Studios, a virtual digital fashion unit, quickly gained popularity and is now considered a top player in the metaverse field. And collaborated with multiple artists, including Takashi Murakami, to launch a plethora of co branded color schemes, even Nike founder Phil Knight personally tried it out. Recently, RTFKT Studios and Nike have once again launched a new color matching shoe, which will exclusively appear at the trend gathering Complex Con. Using a combination of soft cowhide leather and bend resistant PVC washed canvas upper material # with built-in full-length Air Sole cushion # midsole with shock-absorbing EVA material combination anti slip and wear-resistant rubber outsole. The first pair is dominated by light gray, still retaining the classic sci-fi attributes of RTFKT. Although the color scheme is simple, it still catches the eye. Of course, according to the official disassembly, the shoelace buckle on the tongue can be disassembled, making the shoe more minimalist. It is worth mentioning that the midsole is also equipped with an Air Zoom unit, providing excellent foot feel. The other pair is composed of black and purple, which is cooler and more futuristic compared to the previous pair. From the detailed picture, it seems that the shoe upper is made of leather fabric with a texture similar to PVC, so there is no need to worry about the texture performance.
